The 2024 Audi SQ8 e-tron arrives as a potent electric SUV, taking the e-tron platform and injecting a healthy dose of performance. This isn't just a badge exercise; the 'S' designation here means serious hardware upgrades. The most significant change under the skin is the adoption of a tri-motor setup. Unlike the standard Q8 e-tron's dual-motor configuration, the SQ8 e-tron adds a third motor to the rear axle, effectively splitting the rear drive unit into two independent motors.
